Free Youth Video Workshops at CAT-TV

CAT-TV has been awarded a grant from Vermont Humanities to offer free youth video workshops this summer in Bennington.

Middle- and high-school students will take part in a three-session workshop series where they’ll learn basic storytelling, filming, and editing while creating their own one-minute video. No prior experience is needed.

We will be offering two sessions this summer:

Session 1
July 20–24, 2026
Monday, Wednesday & Friday
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Session 2
August 10–14, 2026
Monday, Wednesday & Friday
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Workshops will take place at CAT-TV in Bennington and there is no cost to participate.

Participants will also have the option to share their videos through CAT-TV’s 1-Minute Film Festival.
