About CAT-TV

Catamount Access Television (CAT-TV) is Southern Vermont’s community media center serving Bennington, North Bennington, Pownal, Shaftsbury, and Woodford.

We provide public, educational, and government access programming while helping residents learn media production, share stories, and connect with their community.

From town meetings and local sports to independent films, youth workshops, documentaries, and community events — CAT-TV exists to make local media accessible to everyone.

Our mission is rooted in free expression, civic engagement, creativity, and local storytelling. We believe strong communities are built when people have the tools and opportunity to share their voices.

For more than 30 years, CAT-TV has supported residents, nonprofits, schools, municipalities, artists, and volunteers through media education, production support, and hyper-local programming that reflects the people and culture of Southern Vermont.
