About Us

Community Media at CAT-TV
Catamount Access Television Corporation (CAT-TV) offers public, educational, and governmental TV access to Bennington, North Bennington, Woodford, Pownal, and Shaftsbury, Vermont, on Comcast Cable Channels 1075, 1085, and 1095. Primarily funded by Comcast, we promote multimedia access that enhances free speech and public dialogue, allowing citizen engagement in local government, education, and the arts.

Goals:

  • Keeping it Local: CAT-TV delivered 800 hours of original programming this year, remaining committed to hyper-local content relevant to our community.

  • Quality Content: We aim for high-quality programming through in-house and volunteer efforts, supported by advanced production equipment.

  • Engage Citizens: We foster discussions on local issues, encourage public participation, and promote diverse perspectives to strengthen our democracy.
