A screening with purpose and rising stars!

We've been very busy here at CAT-TV these past few months. It is really hard to believe we are half way through November!

At the beginning of November we had a screening event of our documentary 'Rebuilding Puerto Rico' at Oldcastle Theatre Company. It was the perfect venue to show off the hard work our very own Ryan Scutt put into filming and editing the documentary. Back in March Ryan went down to Puerto Rico with Bennington County Habitat for humanity and students from the local Career Development Center. Together with folks from Chicago they helped several families by giving them new roofs. We had a fantastic audience fully invested in the documentary, wanting to ask questions and help in any way they could!

This would not have been possible without our great sponsors: Oldcastle Theatre Company, Bennington Banner, The Bank of Bennington, The employees of Porta Brace, Love Cody and Company, The Richards Group, and Stewarts Shops. Thank you!

We must also thank our desert sponsors, who graciously provided delicious treats after the screening: South Street Cafe, Bringing You Vermont, The Village Chocolate Shoppe, and the CDC Culinary Arts. Thank you!

Overall it was a successful evening, and keep an eye out for the documentary premiereing on our channels soon!

Shifting gears...to the 2018 Rising Stars!

Last week one of our own was recognized in Burlington by Vermont Business Magazine as a '40 under 40' Rising Start in Vermont. Of the 40, 7 were from Bennington - that's terrific!

From Bennington we had: Kayla Becker, Kristi Cross, Mike Cutler, Michelle Marrocco, Chris Oldham, Forest Weyen, and Heather Wright! Congratulations to all!
