Join in the Fun!
You can get involved with CAT-TV by simply becoming a member.
Membership with CAT-TV is free to individuals who live, work or go to school in Bennington, Pownal, Shaftsbury, Woodford, North Bennington or Old Bennington.
To become a CAT-TV member, just attend a free orientation session. You'll then be eligible to: take certification courses, use equipment and facilities per your certification, submit programming for cablecast, use the community bulletin board computer, vote to elect the board of directors, receive newsletters and other mailings, and attend special functions.
To maintain your status as an active member, you will be requested to complete at least one of the following activities every twenty-four months:
- Complete a Certification Course or Workshop
- Submit and fulfill a Series Contract
- Produce, or assist in the production of a program
- Hold a position on the Board of Directors
- Enroll as an Office Volunteer
- Volunteer to assist with a CAT-TV special event
